What This Policy Covers

This policy applies to the mobile games published by SPAICE AB, including [GAME NAME] ([PACKAGE NAME]) on Google Play and the Apple App Store.

            The short version:
            The game is free and supported by ads. Ads are the only reason any data leaves your device.
We do not run servers. Your game progress is saved on your device and never sent to us.
We do not collect analytics, and we do not know who you are.
We never ask for your name, email, location, contacts, photos, or payment details.
In the EEA and UK you choose, on first launch, whether ads may be personalized — and you can change your mind at any time.

        

Information Collected Through Advertising

We use Google AdMob to show ads. When an ad is requested, Google receives:

An advertising identifier — the Google Advertising ID on Android, or the IDFA on iOS. This is a resettable ID controlled by your device settings, not a name or account.
Device and network information — device model, operating system version, language, and IP address (used to determine approximate country and to deliver the ad).
Ad interaction data — which ads were shown, viewed, or clicked.

This data is collected and processed by Google as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. SPAICE AB never receives it in a form that identifies you; we only see aggregate revenue and performance reports.

Information Stored on Your Device

Your level progress, coins, settings, and language preference are saved locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to us and not backed up to our systems. Uninstalling the game deletes it.

Information We Do Not Collect

Name, email address, phone number, or postal address
Precise or approximate location from your device's location services
Photos, videos, microphone, camera, or user-generated content
Contacts, calendar, or messages
Payment or financial information — the game is free and contains no in-app purchases
Gameplay analytics — we do not operate any analytics collection

Your Advertising Choices

Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

On first launch we show a consent form provided by Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP), which implements the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework. You choose there whether your data may be used for personalized advertising.

You can change or withdraw that choice at any time in the game under Settings → Privacy → Manage Privacy Choices. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and takes effect immediately.

Because Google only provides this form where it is legally required, the option appears for players in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland. If you are elsewhere and want to change your choice, use your device controls below or contact us.

If you decline personalization

The game remains fully playable. You will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized or limited ads, which are selected using approximate location and general context rather than a profile about you.

App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

On iOS, the system asks separately for permission to track you across apps and websites. If you decline, the IDFA is not made available and ads are not personalized. You can change this later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Device-level controls

Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization
iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising

Third-Party Components

Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform — advertising and consent management (Google Privacy Policy, how Google uses data in AdMob)
Google Firebase — the app includes Firebase components used for remote configuration of game settings. Firebase Analytics collection is switched off, and no analytics events are recorded or sent. (Firebase Privacy and Security)

These services operate independently and may use device identifiers and similar technologies as described in their own policies.

Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — storing and reading identifiers on your device for personalized advertising. You give this through the consent form and may withdraw it at any time.
Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — delivering non-personalized ads, measuring ad performance in aggregate, preventing ad fraud, and keeping the game secure and functional. Our interest is funding a free game; we have balanced this against your rights and use no profiling for these purposes.

We do not rely on consent for anything necessary to make the game work, and declining consent never restricts gameplay.

How Long Data Is Kept

Advertising data: held and deleted by Google according to its own retention schedules. We do not store it. See Google's privacy policy for details.
Your consent choice: stored on your device so we do not ask again on every launch. Removed when you uninstall the game or reset your choice.
Game progress: kept on your device until you uninstall the game or clear its data.

SPAICE AB operates no servers and no database of player data, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our side.

International Data Transfers

Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Google states that it relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses as the legal mechanism for these transfers. Details are in Google's privacy policy.

Your Rights

If you are in the EEA or the UK, you have the right to request access to your personal data, and to request its rectification or erasure, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You may also withdraw consent at any time.

In practice, because we hold no identifiable data about you, most of these requests are best directed to Google, which controls the advertising data. We will help where we can.

How to exercise your rights

Withdraw or change ad consent: Settings → Privacy → Manage Privacy Choices (in the game)
Delete everything we hold on your device: uninstall the game
Reset your advertising identifier: use the device controls listed above
Ask us anything else: privacy@spaiceab.com — we respond within 30 days

Right to complain

If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you may lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY), or with the supervisory authority in your country of residence.

Age Requirement

Our games are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children. They are not listed in any children's or family category on Google Play or the Apple App Store.

You must be at least 16 years old to use our Services. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has used our game, contact privacy@spaiceab.com and we will act on it.

Data Security

Traffic between the game and Google's advertising services is encrypted in transit
We operate no servers or databases holding player data, which removes that category of risk entirely
Game progress stays within your device's app storage, protected by your operating system

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the "Last Updated" date above. If a change materially affects how your data is used, we will ask for your consent again through the in-app consent form before the change takes effect.
